The perfect combination
The Equinix Silicon Cup spans two days during the middle
of September, leading up to the weekend proving participants
with the option of taking additional time to explore the
delightful waterside town of Cowes (the sailing capital
of the UK) and its surrounding area.
All activities take place from Cowes Yacht Haven, a purpose built sailing event facility, which is in close proximity to the town and all amenities, including the high-speed ferry service to Southampton.
Thursday 9th September 2010 (final agenda to be published)
0800 - Charter yachts available for early collection in Port Hamble Marina
 1000 - The Equinix Silicon Cup Registration desk opens in Cowes. ALL teams to register!
1130 - Skippers briefing
1200 - Registration closes
1300 - Race 1 Starts, followed by subsequent races
1700 - Boats return to Cowes Yacht Haven after day's racing
Leisure time to get ready for evening party
1700 - Pre dinner drinks in the bar
1900
- Themed Gala Dinner doors open for drinks (THEME = A Night At The
Oscars)
2015 - Dinner is served
2130 - Day's prize giving followed by various fundraising activities
2200 - 0130 - Post Dinner entertainment and dancing
Friday 10th September 2010 (final agenda to be published)
0700 - Breakfast is served (Cowes Yacht Haven Events Centre)
1000
- Racing starts, followed by subsequent races
1600 - Boats return to Cowes Yacht Haven after day's racing
(afternoon tea in Yacht Haven)
1715 - 1745 - The Equinix Silicon Cup Prize Giving

remains open, and guests depart at leisure
